One baby starling this Summer hopped in front of my tractor mower so quickly .. well .. it was over so quickly. I felt so bad but you know what, that spot in my lawn has never been greener !! Works better than Scott's I'd say !!
I have a pet Starling. Its quite funny how i got him and no lie on how i got him. I was sitting in the truck at a restaurant and seen this baby bird trying to eat something that was not editable and i told him that he couldn't eat that. Next thing i know he is flying up on the door screaming at me with his mouth open and then he flew to my shoulder. And hes been with me ever since. His name is Baby and very spoiled. He is out all the time with me and has lots of free fly time. And I wouldn't change anything on how i got this little guy!!!!
I found my starling before he even opened his eyes. His parents made a nest inside of my porch. He fell out and got lucky and lived. My cousin found him and I have raised him since. I named him Pigeon and he has only known me as mom. One of the best pets ive had. Very spoiled.
